Film Schools vs. Gaming and Video..and the winner is?

So the 10 round fight is set…do Film Schools or game development or video production training prepare you to be a well rounded film manker but as films get taken over by the life and art of animation, special effects cgi the fight for potential students and gifted animaters or videoanimaters is taking place before our eyes lor at least our computers. Will the Scorcese’s of our time be found at NYU Film School or at the online program of Academy of Art University? This is a a unnerving truth that is setting in that the true developers of Film are developers literally. But the advantage is the process takes place right at the computer and this is the beacon of creative genius the table of thought where the film buffeet can be laid before your eyes and you can dine until your hearts content and dance with your imagination the true artist for film and animators. So i have to believe that Animators or Game developers will eveolve or become our film geneiuses of the future (online that can mean 2 weeks).

One who is interested in the entertainment or video game industries may enter the field of animation, specializing in any number of concentrations, from video graphics to special effects these are all foundations or componenets of film so a good a place as any to develop those skills to evolve intoa filmmaker. While a certain level of computer skill or programming proficiency is certainly a requirement for many related positions, one may also be required to demonstrate artistic talent and creativity which takes place one one steps foot on the keyboard and is asked to create..
